Python Developer

Remote, Python, Outside IR35
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer/ Consultant to work for a global R&D facility to build a framework which is already loosely in place to ensure people are working to best coding practices and to a specified framework. You will be working alongside researchers who will use this framework and add specific functionalities and perform code reviews. The code itself is often used to build physical models (essentially equations doing calculations) and we need someone to develop a structured way for researchers to build programmes for their own measurement equipment and drivers.

Requirements:

• Expert in Python, particularly in using Numpy, Pandas, Anacondas etc.
• Experience in OOP
• Experience providing a consultative service and advising on best practice
• Experience in R&D or working with academics is a plus

This is an initial 3 month contract, outside IR35 that will likely continue rolling for many years. The company do not have a UK entity so the IR35 status of this remote project will be determined by the worker.
