QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer to work fully remotely for a global broadcast provider on upcoming coverage for the Olympics. The primary focus of the role will be following a set of test scripts, document what issues require further investigation and highlighting any information that is necessary. Ideally, we are looking for a QA Engineer who can go into a Linux environment and capture logs and their issues and perform first level triage after the issues and feedback the relevant information with version and loss. Note: you will be shown where the logs, how to capture them and how to test the software.
Requirements:

• Experience in validating a microservices-based product
• Hands on testing experience
• Experience with Swagger
• Experience in MAM (media asset management) or in the broadcast industry is a plus

We are offering a 3 month contract, outside of IR35 which will be completely remote (you will be dialed into the customer server on their site).
